Against All Odds

  There is a young black man who rides the 5 train.
  He is eighteen years of age and is new to the cold shoulders and mean glances of the corporate's.
  This world is different for him but he has to get use to it quickly (if he wants to survive that is).
  Currently the young man is a liberal Arts major but he wants to get into media someday.
  Let's see what he can make of himself.  

   A young lady of African-American and Hispanic heritage looks in a bathroom mirror but isn't focused on her image whatsoever.
   As her left hand is fixated on a recently developed bump a state of difficulty lingers.
   The future is as bright as the sun for this young lady.
   After she graduates high school Howard will be the university of attendance.
   She only has two choices:
   1. Stay home and raise a child (becoming a statistic in the process).
   2. Go to college and prepare for a future that can actually be as bright as the sun itself.

  There's one thing that this young man and woman have in common.
