BLM

According to mis-information and false reports the death of an unarmed teenager sparked a movement.
The state of multiple beaches and confederate flags became the playing field for a new generation of activists and social justice warriors.
At the time of the hashtag's development I must have been the same age as Trayvon Martin.
Years have passed and I still think about Trayvon and what he could've become.
What if his tragic death didn't happen?
Would we be able to open our eyes to America's ongoing sin?
Would we even care to acknowledge it?
I hope the tragic lost that shook the Martin family doesn't repeat in others.
However, many more have fallen in the years that followed.
BLM (BlackLivesMatter) has been in existence for almost a decade but some often forget the person that it was established after.
Rest in paradise Trayvon Benjamin Martin (1995-2012).
